The Essendon Fields HART Hangar project is the construction of two aircraft hangars with the provision for a third hangar. Also included is the construction a taxiway and apron to service these hangars.
Evergreen Civil was contracted to carry out the bulk earthworks and the pavement construction for the project. Also included are drainage and conduit works.
The works include over 12,000m3 of cut to fill as well as the supply and placement of approximately 15,000 tonnes of quarry material and 700 tonnes of asphalt.
