Greenvale Drain Culverts

Evergreen Civil were engaged by Hume City Council to install concrete precast culverts crossing the Greenvale Drain and associated concrete vehicle grade concrete pathways leading to and from the drain. The works involved seeking approvals and working in accordance to Melbourne Water requirements, inclusive of obtaining relevant permits.

Works included, but were not limited to:

• Heavy excavation & earthworks, inclusive of temporary drain diversion throughout the works;
• Drain bed remediation works, inclusive of deep excavation, geofabric lining and bulk filling with a combination of large rock and liquifill;
• Minor stormwater drainage work;
• Craneage & installation of concrete precast culverts, within a 'live' drain;
• Supply & installation of feature & protective rockwork;
• Preparation & pouring of reinforced concrete pathways;
• Entrance area works inclusive of a new access gate, bollards & concrete vehicle crossover;
• Grading of surrounding areas and topsoil placement;
• Hydroseeding; and
• Supply & planting of plants & trees and 12-month landscaping maintenance.
